If I had the chance to plan a party for anyone, it would undoubtedly be for Taylor Swift. Her iconic style, magnetic stage presence, and undeniable talent make her the ultimate muse for a memorable event. I've always admired Taylor for her ability to command attention and captivate audiences with her music and persona. Imagine the thrill of designing a party that reflects her unique charm and flair, from the décor inspired by her signature aesthetic to the playlist featuring her greatest hits. Question #3: Share a memorable mishap from one of your earliest event planning gigs. How did you handle it?

Ah, the memories of my very first event still bring a smile to my face! It was an anniversary party held at a charming venue nestled in the heart of downtown. As I was setting up, fully immersed in the excitement of the occasion, I made a rookie mistake—I accidentally locked myself out of the back door! Cue the hilarity as I had to embark on an unexpected adventure, navigating my way around the maze of downtown buildings to reach the entrance again. While it was a moment of mild panic at the time, looking back, it's a story that never fails to elicit laughter. Lesson learned: always double-check those locks and never underestimate the power of a good laugh in the face of a mishap!

Question #4: What's the most unusual request you've ever recieved from a client?

After three years in the event planning industry, I've come to realize that there's hardly an odd request that can catch me off guard. Yet, one request stands out as the most delightful and memorable of them all. A client once approached me with a heartfelt desire to surprise his bride on their wedding day with a hand-drawn portrait of the two of them that he drew. Working closely with the groom and maid of honor to keep the secret, I had the privilege of seeing the beautiful rendering before the bride did. Keeping such a meaningful secret was both thrilling and challenging, but the joy on her face when she finally laid eyes on it made every moment of anticipation worthwhile. It was a reminder of the power of personalized touches and the immense joy they can bring to a special day.

Question #5: What's the craziest centerpiece or piece of decor you have had to set up for a client?

Setting up a Halloween-inspired candy table for a wedding reception ranks as one of the craziest and most exhilarating decor setups I've ever tackled for a client. It was a departure from the traditional, but that's precisely why it holds a special place in my heart. The juxtaposition of elegance and whimsy created an unforgettable atmosphere, allowing guests to indulge their sweet tooth while reveling in the spirit of the season. It was a testament to the power of creativity and thinking outside the box, and seeing the joy it brought to the couple and their guests made it all the more rewarding.

What truly fuels my fire is the joy of seeing their dreams come to life, their faces lighting up with happiness as they step into a celebration crafted just for them. Passion infuses every aspect of my work, from the initial brainstorming sessions to the final flourish of confetti. Without it, party planning would simply be a checklist of tasks.
